Our missions and outreach team is responsible for planning local outreaches and national/international mission trips.
Missions
FBC takes multiple mission trips each year to several different locations. Below are the links to our partner organizations that work full time on the sites where our mission teams go.
North Country Ministries (www.ncministries.net) - Lake Placid, New York
We are partnered with NCM to do service evangelism at the annual Ironman Triathlon
Living Water Ministries (www.livingwateraz.com) - Naco, Arizona & Cuautehmoc, Sonora Mexico
We are partnered with Tim and Jennifer Scarbrough at Naco Baptist Church to reach the people of Naco, AZ and the surrounding region.
Local Outreach
Lighthouse Christian Camp (www.lighthousechristiancamp.com) is a camp for kids and teenagers here in Smithville. We have opportunities to serve by helping maintain the grounds and by working as a counselor during the kids' camps.
Vacation Bible School is planned for Summer 2011. Dates forthcoming.
First Baptist has regular service evangelism outreaches that minister to the people of Smithville through meeting their needs and sharing the gospel with them.
