Local Missions

We are dedicated to making an impact for Jesus Christ in our own community.  To do this we are constantly looking for new ways to reach out to people locally in the Name of Jesus.  Once during each quarter the church as a whole puts on a Community Day where the whole goal is to help minister to the community and it's needs.  We also have other local projects that are done through our local Baptist Association.  Other local mission projects include: Angel Tree, Soup Ministry, Volunteering at the Clothes Closet, supporting the Haven of Hope, and so much more.  Find where you can get plugged in locally to missions.

State Side Missions

We work with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) which is an arm of the Southern Baptist Convention.  We also work alongside the Salem Baptist Association which is our local Baptist Association in Dekalb County.  This year we will be working with church plants in Cleveland, OH and some church plants in Wisconsin/Minnesota.  We also work with our State Convention and their efforts throughout the state.

Foreign Missions

We truly believe that Jesus has called us to literally to the ends of the earth to spread the gospel and make disciples.  We also believe that all of us have been called to do this.  We do this in small and large ways.  One small way our church way our church does this is in the Good Samaritan Shoe Box Ministry.  This ministry is a year long ministry for us and it reaches people all over the world.  But we also believe we must be actively going to the world.  This year we are starting a partnership with a church in Puerto Rico, and we are looking at going to Cuba as well.  We hope you pray about how you can get more involved in these opportunities.
